Always hits, even during the semi-invulnerable turn of Dive and Shadow Force. Does not affect Ghost-type foes. In Double and Triple Battles, it hits the last Pokémon to attack the user (including allies). Is disrupted by Sleep. Freeze, partial trap duration, and flinching will pause but not disrupt the duration of Bide.
